Shape Your City

Heineken’s Shape Your City is a global initiative, launched in 2014, created to inspire urban explorers to discover the hidden gems within their cities. With over 1 billion ‘City’ bottles activated across 140 markets, Heineken, known for its refreshing, witty, and bold character, aimed to set a new global standard to retain its status as the beer of choice.

In Singapore, a city where conformity often prevails, sparking creativity demanded something extraordinary. The Singapore Flyer, the city’s most iconic landmark, was transformed into a beacon for changemakers. Five capsules, representing the five points of the Heineken star, were turned into immersive experiences celebrating creative expression. Each act of creativity illuminated the Flyer, turning it into a glowing symbol of innovation visible across the skyline.

To bring this vision to life, five five influential figures from Singapore’s nightlife scene came together to reimagine the Singapore Flyer as a vibrant platform for creativity, where people could gather, innovate, and leave a lasting impact on the city. The result was a transformed icon that not only lit up the night but reshaped the skyline, reinforcing Heineken’s reputation for delivering witty and groundbreaking experiences.
